At the company’s annual meeting on April 28th 2011, Mr. Per Hornung Pedersen was elected as member of the board in the stock listed investment company Deltaq a/s.

Per H. Pedersen replaces Mr. Lars Funder. Lars Funder was a member of the board for four years. Instead he will be joining the board of directors in Spinning Jewelry a/s, which is one of Deltaq’s portfolio companies.

“Per has a strong attachment to Deltaq and we believe that Per’s skills will help strengthen the board with regard to the fund’s and the portfolio companies’ growth and evolution. We have high hopes that he will contribute to change management, strategic business development and international experience”, says Mr. Flemming Lindeløv, chairman of the board, Deltaq a/s.

Mr. Pedersen retired; end March 2011, from a position as Business Development Manager (CMO) in the German company REpower Systems AG, which is one of the leading producers of wind turbines. Furthermore Mr. Per Pedersen has been a member of Deltaq’s investment committee as well as a member in Deltaq’s Advisory Board.

“I am fascinated by the fact of developing enterprisses and bringing them on to the next level.
It is often during this stage that small and medium sized Danish enterprisses have difficulties and I look forward to bringing my experience within this segment into play, ensuring growth and development as well as International business relations to the benefit of Deltaq and shareholders, as well as employees in each portfolio company”, says Per Hornung Pedersen.

Mr. Lars Funder will be joining the board of directors in Spinning Jewelry A/S, which is one of Deltaq’s portfolio companies. His experience will contribute to the jewelry company’s ongoing strategic development, internationalization and growth in new markets.
At the annual meeting Mr. Flemming Lindeløv was elected as Chairman and Mr. Mogens N. Skov as deputy chairman.
